I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to PEI when I was 13. PEI has been my home ever since and I am now raising a family of my own here. I love the slower pace of life and the close-knit community that PEI offers. It also helps that my commute to work every morning is only 5 minutes.
What I enjoy most about working with CFS is the challenge of building rapport and working with children and families through some of the most difficult times in their lives, then seeing the growth and positive transformations they can make with some guidance and support. I also enjoy working closely and collaboratively with my teammates and other service providers in the community.
It is a challenging career in which daily success is sometimes difficult to measure, however, being a part of keeping children safe every day is incredibly rewarding.
